A free task map for one role
Describe one person's week and we'll hand back a table of their tasks, how long each takes and which ones a desk could take on. It takes about fifteen seconds.

How it works
What you get back
Each task gets how often it happens, an estimate of the minutes it takes and one of four labels with the reason for it: automate, automate with a person checking, assist only, or keep human. Under the table you'll find the estimated hours for a month and the one or two tasks to start with.
Every guess is marked as a guess. The minutes column says "estimate, check it", and a frequency it had to guess says so in the cell. It asks you at most three questions first.
Anything that leaves your company keeps a person on it. A task that sends a message outside the company, pays money, files with a government or changes a price never gets a label above "automate with a person checking".
An example
We gave it a list of what our own operations person did over 27 days in September. These are three of the rows it sent back.
| Task | How often | Minutes each (est.) | Label | Hours a month (est.) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Write pricing and offer sheets | 5 in 27 days | 60 | Keep human | 5.6 |
| Write internal reviews of where the project stands | 5 in 27 days | 45 | Assist only | 4.2 |
| File call transcripts | 11 in 27 days | 2 | Automate | 0.4 |
Where it stops
It only knows what you tell it, so it guesses how often most tasks happen and how long they take. When we map a role for a team, we count each task from the team's own books, inbox and bookings, and time a few of them instead of guessing.
If you use Claude Code, save the Claude file as ~/.claude/skills/task-map/SKILL.md
and ask it to map a role. In ChatGPT you can also paste the instructions into a project or a
custom GPT.
